On 23th June was my birthday! I am not a fan of celebrating birthdays, because I am not great at organizing things. Always forget to invite someone or pick the wrong place or I am just too lazy to think of what to do. What I like the most is to travel, so that is what I wanted to do for my birthday.
I live in Barcelona and here the week of my birthday is really expensive to travel because the 24th June is a celebration called Sant Joan. So you have like a long weekend and a lot of people travel. So I decided to organize this trip a few months before this date to find not so expensive prices.
I have always wanted to go to Belgium and its medieval cities. So we decided to go there: Bruges, Ghent and Brussels (I wanted Amberes too but there was not enough time)
On the 23th we travelled to Brussels! I wanted to start going to Bruges, but there was no direct flight there. So we arrived to Brussels airport (Charleroi Airport) and from there we took a bus to Bruges. It was a two hour trip until we arrived. I tend to get dizzy while travelling many hours by bus or car so it was a bit of a challenge for me.
Finally we arrived to the Bruges Bus Station, and started walking from there to the center of the city.
